We were very fortunate to have Anja, aka Istadayi Dasi as our son's teacher for both first and second grade. She is kind, caring, fun, and has a great intuition for connecting with each kid. Besides the classroom, our son attended the after-school classes she offered. They danced, did arts and crafts, played games, did sports, you name it! He also learned all the US state capitals, world geography, body organs, and much more in the Super Brain class! You can tell how fun a class is when your kid doesn't want to leave at pick-up time! Our son (and us) were super happy being in camps led by Anja. We especially remember the Self Reliance Club. Many hands-on activities led with care and guidance. At the end of the camp, our son had developed strong confidence and a better understanding of areas spanning from water filtration to astronomy! After so many years, he still has the fire safety certification award from the camp on his wall. When we go camping, the know how he developed from that early camp formed the base which continues to grow and expand. We highly recommend Anja's camps. Planning/thinking/care that's put in these camps shows through resulting in growth, maturity and joy!
